Edward F. Heagen's Guided Wealth Portfolio

Finding the right people who aligned with his values was not a difficult task, once Ed met Jeff Motske of Trilogy Financial in 2022.  Since then, Ed has found a group of colleagues with the integrity and ability to guide the long-term visions of their treasured clients. Ed carefully chose the right collaborative fit after spending 37 years building a thriving practice that grew organically, year over year without a marketing budget. His clients have become family after 10, 20 and for some, 30+ years together.

Ed was introduced to the business by his father, also Ed Heagen, in the early 1980’s. After only a few years of working side by side, his father passed on and Ed stepped into the role of Financial Advisor, picking up where the former had left off. A quick learner, Ed obtained the necessary licenses, including his Series 7, 24, 31, 51, 63, 65, currently held with LPL Financial; he also gained the AIF designation (Accredited Investment Fiduciary), and Life and Health.  In addition to providing wealth management for families, Ed has grown a healthy 401(k) practice as well, serving 20 Plans and several hundred participants over the years.

An avid outdoorsman, Ed has logged hundreds of miles on his mountain bike in the past 15 years; equally at home on the water, he is an adept surfer and kiteboarder.  He made his own office furniture and plans to keep building in his woodshop.  Ed miraculously recovered from a mountain bike accident last year that left his neck broken but his determination intact, and he harbors a deep appreciation for anyone who has fought hard to push past limits.  He is a longtime supporter of the Arthritis Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.

Ed lives in San Clemente with his wife and dogs; his son and daughter are grown now and live in Bend, Oregon and Norman, Oklahoma, respectively.
